Health Care And The Global Economy

Abstract: 8 pages in length. There exist a number of elements that significantly influence global economy, not the least of which is that of health care. As well, the issues surrounding the health care system comprise a program that is both monetarily inflated and gravely lacking in patient concern. The writer discusses how this ongoing propensity to increase prices while at the same time decreasing service and attention have caused the health care system to become a considerable burden upon the global economy, including the pharmaceutical industry, health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and the impact of AIDS.
