Colombia: The Effect of Human Rights Organizations on Colombian Internal Security

Abstract: This 45 page research study considers the nature of human rights organization work in Colombia and the impact on struggles to maintain Colombian internal security. This paper supports the thesis that Colombian internal security has been negatively influenced by human rights organizations, and defends this argument through the use of the current literature and interviews with human rights organization workers and government and military personnel.
