2 Dutch Masters, Leyden and Steen

Abstract: A 6 page research paper that examines two Dutch paintings, "Twelfth-Night Feast" by Jan Steen (1662), and "Moses and the Israelites After the Miracle of Water from the Rock" by Lucas van Leyden (1527), and discusses the prominent features of both paintings, in terms of what sources indicate about the artist's life and possible intentions in creating each work. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
