Abstract: 3 pages in length. The extent to which peer association reflects the lifeblood of adolescent development is both grand and far-reaching; that peer choice and interaction occur at different levels depending upon gender speaks to the multifaceted nature of cultivating social networks. An interview with four teenagers - two boys and two girls all sixteen years of age - helps to offer insight to this curious distinction of human development. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
