Abstract: 20 pages in length. This is a well-written in-depth analysis of the economic embargo against Cuba, the humanitarian efforts to reach out to the people of Cuba and the resolution of the conflict between the United States and Cuba. The Cuba sanctions policy, widely criticized in other countries as a leftover of the Cold War, is increasingly lonely for Washington.
