Croatia and the European Union

Abstract: This 13 page paper looks at the position of Croatia in terms of European Union (EU) membership. Although the country has been accepted as a candidate there have been concerns that the EU expansion should slow down, which places the potential membership of Croatia onto a long term scale, if it is to happen. The paper looks at what Croatia wants to join and what they can offer the EU and compares their desire and path to joining with that of Turkey. The bibliography cites 15 sources.
