A Case For Including Nostradamus In A Case For Including Nostradamus In World History Text Books

Abstract: This 7 page paper submits a proposal to include Nostradamus in future World History text books. An outline of his accomplishments is provided followed by an explanation and rationale for including him in text books. One of the many things people tend to forget about Nostradamus was that he was a physician who believed in revolutionary ideas for his day, like clean water. He is credited for saving thousands of lives during the plague but he was also persecuted for doing so. The essay also discusses his prophecies and includes several and their common interpretations. Critics' comments are reported, as well. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
