Politics and Religion in Ancient Civilizations

Abstract: A 5 page paper which compares and contrasts the relationship between politics and religion in the ancient civilizations of the Near East, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Orient and India. There are many similarities in each of these ancient civilizations considering it was a time when religion was the most important aspect of life for most of these people. Politics more often than not, used this to their advantage. The only difference was perhaps, to what degree it was used. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
