Socratic Dialogue/Social Disapproval & Unpopularity

Abstract: A 5 page essay that consists of 2 parts. The first part of this paper is an original "dialogue" that follows the Socratic method of instruction and emphasizes the issue of social disapproval and unpopularity, drawing on Socratic philosophy. This dialogue is between a father and son and the dangers inherent in seeking popularity as a teenager. The second part of the paper offers a brief assessment of Socrates, his life and philosophy.
