Cuba's Path to Independence

Abstract: A 9 page paper tracing Cuba's history from Columbus' discovery to the present day, focusing on Castro's seizing of the government in 1959. The paper also discusses Che Guevara, an Argentine revolutionary that Castro met while both were in exile in Cuba. Guevara joined Castro's cause and served in Castro's government for several years before being executed by American-trained Bolivian soldiers in 1967. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
