The American Ideal Of Suburbia

Abstract: 5 pages in length. The American ideal of suburbia reflects a trend of living that is conspicuous by the very lifestyles of the people who live within such urban sprawl. It is a decidedly different approach to existence than that of its urban counterpart, which establishes residency inside a significantly closed environment. Suburbia represents freedom and an unencumbered feeling to the degree that people are able to spread out and have room to grow. Contrarily, metropolitan communities offer nothing like the outdoorsy appeal of living at the outskirts of town, a place where Americans can settle in and take stock of their inherent independence. The writer discusses the American deal of suburbia. No sources cited.
