Analyzing Fergus Kerr's Stanley Cavell and the Truth of Skepticism finds that the very nature of philosophy is grounded within a foundation of postulation and skepticism; without the presence of uncertainty brought about by skepticism, the fundamental tenets of philosophy would have nothing upon which to be challenged.
