The French Revolution

Abstract: A 5 page overview of the French Revolution. The author contends that this revolution had its roots deeply imbedded in France's history. The problems leading up to the revolution, in fact, can be traced some one-hundred years to a point preceding it, to a point even before the reign of Louis XIV the grandfather of Louis XVI. This revolution was replete with much bloodshed and can not be characterized as a "glorious" revolution such as that experienced in England in the previous century. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
