Democratic Peace Theory

Abstract: This 12 page paper begins by explaining what the democratic peace theory is and why it works most of the time. The writer reports and comments on why so few nations have been successful in changing from an autocratic government to a democratic government. The conditions and characteristics that are conducive to institutionalizing democracy are explained.
