Votive Statues of Ancient Egypt

Abstract: This 5 page report shows how Egyptian votive statues allows for a greater understanding of the culture and beliefs of ancient Egyptians. In ancient Egypt and throughout its many dynasties, everything that happened, regardless of how important or how minor, was credited to the influence and desires of the gods. Therefore, the ancient Egyptians believed that constant worship, awareness, and offerings were a necessary aspect of their daily lives. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
