Abstract: This 6 page report discusses the work and thought of artist Susan Hiller. Her art installations are as varied and multi-dimensional as she herself is. For example, her education and experience is based in anthropology and archaeology and are the fields in which she worked while still in the U.S. She began her work as an artist in 1973 when she moved to London. She does not limit herself to one form of expression but throughout her work, her understanding of human consciousness and the role it plays and has played in culture is clear. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
