Careers in Graphic Design

Abstract: 7 pages. This paper explains the pros and cons of a career in graphic design. Some of the topics included are the educational requirements for the job; duties expected of employees holding the job and the future of graphic design. In other words, will there be a market for graphic designers by the time they get out of college? Job satisfaction is covered based on a personal interview herein, as well as the opportunities for advancement and the positive and negative aspects of the job. The overall assessment of a career in graphic design and whether it is well suited to oneself summarizes the paper. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
