Abstract: Taking examples from Book III of Augustine's Confessions, this paper discusses how Augustine outlines the three basic types of lust; visual, sensory and domineering. The paper also examines Augustine's own experiences with these particular lusts and how he overcame them. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
