Descartes' "Meditations": Mind/Body Distinction

Abstract: 7 pages in length. After originally attempting to doubt everything it is possible to doubt in the Meditations, Descartes goes on to conclude that he knows without a doubt that his mind is really distinct from his body. Reading the Meditations enables the student to gain a significantly better perspective of Descartes' intent, leading one to come to the ultimate conclusion that the mind is really distinct from one's body by applying his theory of the Other Mind.
