Rationalist and Empiricist Theories of Knowledge

Abstract: A 6 page paper discussing the validity of these two theories, how they can apply to psychological egoism and how Kant's position on duty can be incorporated. Kant's categorical imperative states that individuals should behave as though they are able through their will to make their actions universal law. Egoism is self-centered and self-serving; Kant provides a bridge between self-centeredness and duty. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
