Abstract: A 6 page contention that women experienced both adverse impacts and positive impacts during the Renaissance of Northern Europe. As women were subjected to more and more societal ostracization from the societal structures which welcomed their husbands and other males with open arms, they became more and more determined to overcome those injustices. Because of their move from their agrarian lifestyles they had access not only to other like-minded people, but also to the societal structure which could aid them in changing forever the role and status of women.
