British Trial by Jury

Abstract: A 5 page paper which addresses current government desire to abolish trial by jury in Great Britain. The paper argues that trial by jury is essential to the system of law, and argues that, while there may be problems with the system, it does protect the rights of the citizens more adequately than no system would.
