Ancient Art Commonalities

Abstract: A 4 page paper discussing the art of Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Indus Valley and China in terms of the features they have in common. These diverse art forms and cultures from which they arose all hold in common either a single deity or the presence of spirits that previously occupied physical bodies that since were committed to the earth. There is a link visible in all with a direct earth connection, the source of life and the caretaker of life's remains. Bibliography lists 1 source.
