Michelangelo's David

Abstract: (5 pp). This work (1501-4) by Michelangelo of the Biblical shepherd David is considered by some one of the world's great remaining pieces of three-dimensional art. What we are looking is obviously only part of the nineteen-foot form now residing in the Academia. An analysis of the piece including descriptive, interpretative and evaluative details is given. Bibliography lists 4 sources including one close-up visual.
