Life Of A Peasant Man Between The Enlightenment And The Industrial Revolution

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Although the Enlightenment promoted the ceaseless quest for progress, its universal and optimist ideas showed both positive and negative aspects after the French Revolution. In the same way, everyone in Europe did not equally benefit from the Industry Revolution. If one were to have been born a peasant man in 1780 and lived until 1880, myriad changes would have occurred in relation to political, economic and social concerns that presented one with myriad opportunities as well as certain impediments inherently associated with such significant change.
