Different Viewpoints on Global Trends

Abstract: 6 pages in length. In looking at the differing viewpoints on global trends as observed by Thomas Friedman and Ignacio Ramonet, we show how each author conceptualizes globalization. Additionally, the ongoing concerns over security and nuclear arms in the post-cold war era will be discussed, as well as the future of nuclear weapons in global security.
