Abstract: 5 pages in length. Problems of economic justice occur in societies in a natural form whenever legitimate rights claims come into conflict. The study of justice, economic justice in particular, is an important endeavor to discover the success of any society that wishes to consider equivocally these conflicting economic claims. In today's society especially, these claims can occur quite often and are claims most often in regard to material needs, goods for sustenance, wealth, and the institutions and systems that accompany them. This paper looks at this justice as outlined mainly by Rawls and Nozick, and the opposing viewpoints of each. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
