Is a Disembodied Mind a Person?

Abstract: This 6 page paper uses a 1998 X-Files episode as an example for exploring the idea that a disembodied mind could experience personhood. The paper argues against that notion, explaining that the physical body is most important in the definition of personhood. Descartes and Locke's ideas are noted. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
