The Durkheimian Tradition Applied To Modern Problems

Abstract: A 5 page paper examining three problems of today in light of the precepts and theories of Emile Durkheim and several of the sociologists following him who also hold to Durkheimian tradition. The problems discussed are rising incidence of childhood obesity; dangerous school pranks that result in injuries; and abuse of infants that results in critical or even fatal injuries.
