Leonardo da Vinci and Fractals

Abstract: A 15 page interpretation of Lenoardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' in terms of fractals. The writer presents Leonardo's mathematical leanings and application of his genius in his lifetime, and discusses basic fractal relationship to nature. The writer applies the 5 - 3 ratio of the Fibonacci series to the mural, and why Leonardo chose this type of geometry to portray the last supper of Christ. Bibliography lists 11 sources.
