Descartes' 'Ghost In The Machine':

Abstract: What, exactly, are the body, mind and spirit? Are they distinct? Is the mind relegated to the physical manifestation of gray matter and where is the spirit located? Four hundred years ago Descartes was pondering the mind. The question of where the mind was located led him to what has become known as Cartesian Dualism. This 5 page paper explores the life of Descartes, his theory of dualism and it's applicability to today. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
