Abstract: A 5 page paper which discusses the Column of Trajan through the eyes of a simple traveler in the time of late antiquity. The paper analyzes the column, through the traveler, and then compares it to an earlier piece of work, the Colossus of Ramses II. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
