Purpose and Meaning in Life According to Great Minds

Abstract: A 5 page paper which discusses how some of the great minds in history have addressed the aspect of a meaningful life. Those discussed in these terms are Viktor Frankl, Plato, Nietzsche, and Albert Camus. The aspect of a meaningful life is examined in how the great minds look at life, addressing if it has a purpose, and who the giver of that purpose is, if they are of the mind to belief there is a purpose to life. The works discussed are Frankl's 'Man's Search for Meaning,' Plato's 'Republic,' Nietzsche's 'The Antichrist,' and Camus' 'The Stranger.' No additional sources cited.
