Should English Be Our Official Language?

Abstract: A 5 page paper that examines the question of whether English should be designated as the U.S.'s official language. However, the one area that will suffer most is in education and it is necessity to retain bilingualism in schools to meet the needs not only of the students attending, but the needs of the nation to educate its citizens. Opposing views are presented, but the paper argues that multilingual education is necessary and that English should not become official language. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
